Our Mission
What we do
The Transportation and Logistics Sector Board meets the second Wednesday of every month at Kirkwood Continuing Education Training Center. Most months there is a presentation from an industry expert about a relevant topic within the transportation industry.
The board is committed to the following initiatives:
- Create and promote the portal explore-transportation.org to increase awareness about the transportation industry and help grow the pipeline of future workforce.
- Plan and execute the annual Rollin Rally event where our community can gather to see the unique equipment and careers within the transportation industry.
- Provide educational opportunities for businesses in the transportation industry through round table discussions, 5-minute pitch ideas, and relevant speakers during our monthly board meetings.
